Mba Entrance Exams In India

There are several MBA exams which take place every year. The most commonly taken MBA entrance tests which are taken by the majority of the students are:

 

  • CAT: The CAT or the Common Aptitude test is conducted by the Indian institutes of Management which are based in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode, Indore and many other colleges as well which are affiliated with this Exam.
  • IIFT entrance test: This is the test for getting an admission to the Indian Institute of foreign Trade, New Delhi
  • FMS entrance test: Test for admission to the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi
  • XAT: Xavier Aptitude test is generally considered for getting an admission at the Xavier Relations Labour Institute, Jamshedpur, Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubhaneshwar and many other colleges as well such as S.P.Jain College of Management.
  • SNAP: Symbiosis National aptitude test is responsible for the admissions to all colleges affiliated with the Symbiosis deemed university.
  • JMET : Joint Management Entrance Test
  • ATMA : AIMS Test For Management Admission
  • NET : National Entrance Test for colleges offering Management courses in the state of Rajasthan.
  • MAT : Management Aptitude Test - New Delhi
  • AIMET : All India Management Entrance Test Maharashtra
  • NMAT: Narsee Monjee management aptitude test
  • CET, Maharashtra: Common entrance test for all the colleges in Maharashtra such as Jamnalal Bajaj, K.J.Somaiya, Welingkar etc which are affiliated with the Directorate of technical education.
  • CET, Karnataka: Common entrance test for all the colleges offering management courses in Karnataka.
  • OMAT: For colleges offering management degrees in Orissa
